Where are the mueller scopes made? I know I get what I pay for so have you had any luck with the Mueller scopes? I have about five or six of them and have not had any trouble with any of them.
Seem to be good for the price. Howling, here's what I understand about the manufacturing process of Muellers. For the money, they're pretty hard to beat for the optics are clear as a bell. They're shockproof, waterproof, fogproof and Rich at Mueller really stands behind his product.
They have a lifetime warranty for the original owner, so sometimes you may have to produce a receipt. Hope this helps, Dennis. I had 1 and won't own another 1, the glass sucked in low light and the AO ring came loose from the front. I glued it back together and gave it away.
I let a dealer talk me into trying it instead of buying a Leupold, Ya you get what you pay for that's for sure. Trying to decide on Mueller or Nikon scopes. I'm going to try one of the scopes on a AR and see how it shoots and decide weather to keep the AR or get ride of it I don't to put the higher end scopes on a rifle until I know it is a shooter so it's between these 2 brands. Thank you for your help on the scopes.

I've been using a Mueller 8x32 30mm SF target scope on my 22 LR Bench rest rifle and like it alot, zero issues with it. Make mine a Minaska. Heaven has rules and walls, He-l has open borders.
I have several and just recently put one a X40 with an German 4 illuminated reticle on my that I bought from Dennis. I couldn't be any more please with the amount paid for them. Sure, they're not Leupold. It also has a rubber ring high friction around it instead of a smooth hard plastic ring. I found that just the act of putting the rifle in and out of the case or sliding the eye-piece across clothing can cause the eye-piece to turn.
I thought this might just be an issue with my particular scope but my second Speed Shot is exactly the same and I expect the 3 rd to be the same way. Not a deal breaker though. After I am sure each eye piece is focused where I want it I plan on cleaning a couple of spots between the eye-piece and tube and injecting a couple of small dots of black silicone rubber to hold it in place.
I am not the type to normally write product reviews. But today has found me shaking my head with a confounded look on my face. Sure, I have read the reviews with people claiming their Mueller scope is as good as or better than their Leupolds, Elites, and other expensove scopes.
Boy was I ever wrong. I needed a medium powered scope that would focus down to 10 yds and also have reasonably small Mil Dots for precise work. At the low price of Mueller products, I did not expect but much, but I went ahead and ordered an APT, figuring I could always send it back when it proved to have the normal yellowish, unclear, or hazy look of inexpensive optics.
These are not cheap scopes, and offer very good performance, so imagine my surprise when I came to grips that my new APT was as good if not better than ALL of those expensive scopes I have owned!
Yeah … I am completely blown away by the APT scope. It simply IS brighter and clearer than my much more expensive scopes, and if Mueller keeps making scopes of this quality, at these prices, I will NEVER again buy another scope brand in my lifetime. One more thing I forgot to say : I am an avid airgunner and airgun smith, and have been for the past 27 years.
Airgunners really like lightweight scopes in the power range of your APV scope ….. If you would put your Mil Dot reticle in the 4. FOV is awesome. Comes with an extra battery….. Read entire review here….. Just wanted you to know that I mounted two of your 4. One is a. Your scopes make it really easy to hit the target! My 14 year old son used the. I am using DNZ Game Reaper one piece mounts on both as they are easy to install and no chance of binding. My Leopold and Nikon shooting buddies are jealous of my scopes.
They paid much more than I did for the same high quality glass. Keep up the good work! Your Company has been a pleasure to deal with and every order has been Perfect!! On time and with a Free Hat which i wear with Pride!! My name is Norberto, I live in San Jose Costa Rica and I would like to give my impressions on this superb scope so that if you like you could go on and post them in your web site.
Mueller: The box is nothing fancy, instructions is a photocopied paper, a nice lens cover with the eye piece yellow and that is all you get. Good going, that is a way of saving on costs and consequently lower the prices. The scope is worth every cent. I know a lot on optics since I am a photographer other that a weapons lover. The lenses in this scope are completely coated, and you can see that it is not a cheap coating that many manufacturers place on lenses, this is the real thing.
Light and colors are superb, and I can say that I see better trough the scope than with my bare eyes. This is no surprise since optics with Antireflection treatment and low distortion often have the feeling of improving the scene. Precision in making good lenses makes, and bodies the difference. It is all made in Japan, and we all know that Japan makes other mayor optical brands that are among the best in the world.
This ones maintains a nice image with no distortion. So no need to take them of for shooting. I compared this scope with a major brand scope that I have, Nikon Tactical, costing 3 times more than this one and I have to honestly say that the price difference has no justification on the quality.
I would recommend this scope to anyone that is thinking in having a superb quality scope at a reasonable price. I just received my scope and and the optics are great, the workmanship is excellent and the red dot is a big plus.
It is mounted on a and I shoot in a benchrest rest club. The groups are consistant and many of my hardcore dollar and above buddys are really impressed with it. I see you selling many more in the future! Thanks alot from the budget benchrest shooter. My name is Eric. I was carrying the rifle over my shoulder on a sling because at the time I was riding a mule. I got off the mule at the creek to give the poor thing a break. I was also leading another mule down to the creek as well.
I reached down, grabbed the gun and examined the scope. External damage was heartbreaking. The illuminator knob was almost crushed, and a series of deep scratches went from end to end.
When I arrived at our high altitude campsite, I found a can sized rock perched against a slope, that best guess, was about yards away. I loaded the gun, found an old deadfall, got myself comfortable, and fired the shot. Congratulations for making such an outstanding piece of hunting equipment. Let me know when the bow sight comes out, I want one! I would just like to send a message to your company to let you know that I am totally and completely satisfied with my new Mueller scope.
I purchased it in March of this year and have had it to the range and out hunting quite a bit so far. It has really held up well, and the optics clarity are exceptional! I really like the red dot option on these scopes and I am looking forward to using this feature this year when night hunting for fox. Thank You for an exceptional quality product, keep up the great work. I recently purchased the above model scope by from your web sight. Many hunters will love this feature.
The Target Rifle scope is certainly fantastic for hitting distant targets. Its eye relief, eyepiece, and ability to capably compensate for parallax make this a great companion optic for precision-minded marksmen. This scope is essentially the opposite compared to our previous pick. To make things even better, this scope has two separate sensors built into the front of the apparatus to detect lighting conditions in the environment. This will automatically adjust the illumination of the red dot for your convenience.
You can even adjust the brightness of the dot yourself with 10 manual adjustment settings. This reflex scope also offers four different reticle styles, which you can swap between at the touch of a switch.
Few other scopes of this type offer this much customization. This scope is also incredibly easy to mount to an existing rail system since it has a mounting base already built into its design.
You can also use it for archery purposes, though mounting it might be a bit tricky depending on the crossbow you use. This tactical reflex sight provides a phenomenal field-of-view and multiple illumination settings and reticle styles for you to choose between.
To find out more about scopes have a look at best NcStar scopes review or our article on Redfield scopes. Eye relief hovers between 3. Unfortunately, this scope does not feature an adjustable objective or a parallax turret to compensate for this effect at longer distance ranges.
This scope uses a MIL-style reticle for ultimate precision and versatility. Like our first choice, this can let you focus on your target or acquire a target more quickly than scopes with other eyepieces.
