Store Page. Yes I know it's been asked a thousand times over the last 7 years but hang on just a second. I've been digging through some old threads, some say they should respawn around every 3 in-game days. However apart from some event based outcomes, or that the Talon Mercs spawn at random locations to catch you off guard, the 3 day rule doesn't appear to be a guarantee. I mean those enemies I've put down stay down in random streets, and their bodies are 'lootable' even after a week.
There may a replacement of enemies, but definitely far fewer than my first encounter. How does the whole system work exactly? Last edited by CursedPanther ; 14 Sep, am. Showing 1 - 15 of 20 comments. Yeah, 3 days 72 hours is correct. Containers will never respawn though. I'm not sure about this part though, but I think you need to leave and re enter the area. Like fast travel somewhere and back. I would suggest just exploring and killing, killing, killing.
DC is a very good area for this type of grinding, but i would suggest trying to complete the side quests to level faster. I like the fact that dead bodies remain were you left them.
I went looking for the Declaration of Independence and had a helper, but she died. I left her head on a wall light and her body on a bench. I came back 20 hours later and they were still there were I left them Some stuff like raiders and talon mercs respawn, but after a while, they are just annoying and barely worth looting. With the current level cap, there's no reason to actively seek out combat in the same damn areas, it's just better and more fun to get your exploran on and find some new locations and stuff to jack.

User Info: ragabash. Is there any way to stop an enemy from respawning? Maybe something you can do to the corpse get your mind out of the gutter to stop them from coming back?
Can't think of anything interesting to say. User Info: Fiach. User Info: tuch. Some "dungeons" actually do respawn. Every three in-game days, or 72 hours. Just use the wait option three times. But the interiors of most buildings and tunnels never respawn. Basically, if there's a roof over your head and you had to load to get inside, they're not going to respawn. I don't really get why, it makes the game eventually become almost lifeless and dead in parts.
I just shoot them in the face repeatedly. If I have a Mattock, and they have a face, I'll win. More topics from this board How often? Can anyone think of a Time In History for this?
